We use the project planning model below for all major projects and our aim is that the model provides an
holistic programme from pre-project assessment to the provision of post-project evaluation results.

Education Solutions Direct uses a variety of approaches in the delivery of its learning and training programmes.
However, there are a number of central ideas and values that are drawn upon within each project.

These include:

• The use of latest research into learning including cognitive processing models and alternative
• intelligence theory. We understand there are different types of learners who have differing needs.

• Using a grounded approach to the social context of learning to ensure relevance and appropriateness
• of location, culture and language.

• The use of role-play and case studies to bridge the gap between practice and reality.

• Training the trainer and all other relevant parties who play a part in sustaining an initiative.

• Using graphic design to illuminate ideas, motivate and provide a pathway to learning for visual learners.

We like to think that we are rigorous in our approach to planning and delivery but like also to build some
fun into the process as well.

Learning needn’t be dull!
